1. About these terms

These terms apply to every quote and project with Bastian Studio (Sebastian Przyimka). Your quote and these terms together make up our agreement. By accepting a quote or paying a deposit, you agree to them.

2. Quotes & what’s included

Every project starts with a fixed, written quote listing exactly what’s included. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Anything outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately. I’ll always ask before doing extra paid work.

3. Payments

• A 50% deposit is due before work starts, and the remaining 50% before your website goes live.
• Monthly services (such as maintenance, SEO or ads management) are paid in advance.
• Invoices are due within 14 days.
• If a payment is overdue, I may pause work and, after giving notice, take a website I host offline until it’s paid.

4. Your part

• Send content, photos and feedback in good time. Delays on your side may move the timeline.
• Make sure you have the rights to everything you send me (images, logos, text). You’re responsible if you don’t.
• Keep any logins I give you safe.

5. Revisions & sign-off

2 rounds of design changes are included. Further changes are charged at £35 per hour, agreed in advance. When you approve the finished website, that’s your go-ahead to launch.

6. Who owns what

Once everything is paid in full, you own your website, its content and your domain name. Third-party items (such as themes, plugins, fonts and stock photos) remain under their own licences. I may show your website in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

7. Hosting, security & backups

• I use reputable hosting and take reasonable steps to keep websites secure and up to date.
• No website can be guaranteed to be 100% secure or online all the time.
• I’m not responsible for outages, hacks or data loss caused by hosting companies, third-party plugins or services, or by changes made by you or someone else.
• Regular backups are included on the Ongoing support plan. Without a plan, keeping backups of your website is your responsibility.

8. No guaranteed results

SEO and Google Ads are designed to improve your visibility and enquiries, but results depend on Google, your competitors and your market. I can’t guarantee specific rankings, traffic, sales or ad performance. Advertising spend is paid directly by you to Google and isn’t refundable by me.

9. Limit of liability

My total liability to you is limited to the amount you’ve paid me for the project concerned (or, for monthly services, the last 12 months of fees). I’m not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost business or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited.

10. Cancelling

• Either of us can end a project by letting the other know in writing.
• Work completed up to that point is payable, and the deposit isn’t refundable once work has started.
• Monthly services can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice.

11. Confidentiality

I keep your business information private and only use it to do the work we’ve agreed. See my privacy policy for how I handle personal information.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes will be dealt with by the Scottish courts.
